You are a dental nurse assisting after a dental procedure carried out under conscious sedation.
The patient’s treatment has finished, and they are recovering well.
Before leaving, the patient asks:

You are the dental nurse supporting the dentist by reinforcing the post-sedation advice and ensuring the patient understands the importance of following the discharge instructions.

Model Answer / Ideal Response
A strong response should be calm, supportive, and focused on helping the patient feel comfortable.
